Our installation for the next few months is the actual working studio of an artist. In concert with "Studio Chicago," the yearlong collaborative city-wide project that focuses on artists' studios, we present the studio of jewelry designer Glenn Doering. During his presence in our gallery, he will go about his artistic creative process in this "showcase studio," involving the viewing public in all of the successes, failures, challenges and work of designing and creating jewelry.

As in any artist's studio, work-in-progress will be left on the design table. And being mindful of the temporary public nature of his workspace, the artist will periodically leave notes in the window explaining what is being worked on and what his thought processes are.

We hope this unique opportunity offers you an interesting and educational "behind the scenes" look at life in the studio of an artist.
